Ms. Pottier concentrates her practice on Labor and Employment Law, Personal Injury and general Litigation. Ms. Pottier is an experienced litigator who has seen matters through arbitration and trial.

She began her legal career during law school serving the interests of wrongfully terminated employees at a talented plaintiff’s law firm in Rocklin, California. There, she acquired an acute awareness of both State and Federal Rules of Court, and litigation procedure applicable to Employment Law cases.

During law school, Ms. Pottier was ambitious enough to obtain a State Bar certification that allowed her to represent clients in the courtroom and she gained real trial experience even before becoming an attorney. She quickly became no stranger to taking litigated disputes all the way to trial— and prevailing.

In 2015, she was part of the legal team that obtained a highly favorable trial verdict in Barbara Anderton v. Bass Underwriters, Inc., an age and gender based discrimination case. An award of $4.74 million in damages and compensation was obtained for the Plaintiff, a 61-year old underwriter was terminated in favor her younger male colleague. This verdict was nominated as one of the top 40 verdicts in California that year.

Ms. Pottier continues to spend a lot of time representing employees against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination, including claims under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), California’s wage and hour laws, Private Attorney General Act (PAGA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the California Family Rights Act (CFRA).

Ms. Pottier’s passion for the law enables her to zealously represent and advocate for her clients to reach the most favorable resolution.

Prior to beginning her legal career, Ms. Pottier obtained undergraduate degrees in English and Criminal Justice, as well as her Masters in English.

Ms. Pottier was published in a major magazine and routinely wrote for a local newspaper. She also has a love for dance and is a life long dancer. Ms. Pottier began her own dance training at the age of 3, dancing competitively in many dance competitions including Showstoppers and Showbiz. In her spare time she owns and operates a local dance studio and takes pride in inspiring and motivating the talents of all her dancers, and helping them become technically proficient in a fun environment.

Ms. Pottier is admitted to practice in all California State Courts and is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the California Young Lawyers Association (CYLA), and the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association (CCTLA).
